22. MOONLIT JAPANESE ROOM Students will create an enchanting Japanese room, lit from behind by the light of the full moon. With tatami floor mats, shoji wall screens, and a view of a lantern illuminating a forest of tall trees outside, this box will reveal a natural harmony that typifies the best of Japanese aesthetics. While applying authentic Japanese design elements, you will construct this scene from the back forward over two days. All levels welcome. I will also cover other aspects of Japanese design, for your future projects. Come ready to learn, build, and enjoy yourself. This box measures approximately 12” (30cm) x 10” (25cm). All lighting is by LED, meaning no need for replacements. Includes a high quality plexi cover on the front. |
