15.  A SWEET START

Students will learn many skills about polymer clay by creating a tray full of everything needed for a sweet breakfast: pastries, teapot and cups. They will experience image transfer, modelling, shading, sealing, safe mixing with other creative mediums, curing and storage: the basics and more.  Both beginners and experienced students may enjoy it, beginners are very welcome, teacher will guide in the making of this miniature scene step by step. Everything needed (materials, accessories and basic tools) to create what you see in the picture is included into the kit that will be given each student.  During the workshop teacher will have some tools to share however, students are welcome to bring their own tools.  (e.g. small scissors, pointed tweezers, xacto knife, a small paintbrush, a magnifier lamp if needed).  Due to airline restrictions, students will have to bring their own xacto knife.
