27.  MID CENTURY SIDEBOARD

Students will build this 1:12 scale sideboard based on a design made by G-plan in the 1950’s.  You will build, sand and glue this kit.  At the end of the day you will know how to convert MDF (pressed wood fiber) to a convincing wood grain look.  Therefore we will use a combination of acrylic paint and medium gel.

 

All supplies are provided by the instructor except as indicated, however, students are welcome to bring their own tools & supplies.
