39.  THE BORROWERS

The tales of a family of tiny people who live secretly in the walls and floors of a house and "borrow" from the big people upstairs invoked many imaginings making us ask, what would the Borrowers do with this? So start a treasure hunt in your home gathering little treasures that the Borrowers would find very useful. Working in 1“ scale (sort of) using found items as well as things borrowed from the dollhouse of the little girl upstairs, we will create the Borrowers living room and kitchen. All materials are provided, pre-cut and ready for use. All tools required to finish the project are provided. The project box measures 11.8”w (300 mm) x 7”d (180 mm) x 10.25”h (260 mm) and can be hung on the wall or placed on a shelf. Additional boxes of different widths will be available to make additional rooms. Participants should bring their own lamp and extension cord if required.

All supplies are provided by the instructor except as indicated,

however, students are welcome to bring their own tools & supplies.
