62. FRESH PASTA PREPARATION TABLE
Manuela Michieli Thursday 1pm-9pm $275
Straight from the Italian food valley a 1:12 table full of fresh Italian pasta: by creating different pasta kinds, from “tagliatelle” to “tortelli di erbetta” these miniatures will be an enjoyable way to learn different basic skills to start creating original miniatures by your own. Polymer clay basic and advanced information will be given and used. Beside pasta we will also create some kitchen tools. As it always happens in all of my workshops, every item has been carefully chosen to teach how to use a material or to learn a specific technique that I am sure you will treasure in the future. For this reason different creative mediums will be used too. I love collaborations so one special touch will be a kitchen tool created by IGMA Artisan Silvia Cucchi… and we will use it too! Beginners are very welcome, teacher will guide in the making of this miniature scene step by step. Everything needed (table, materials, some basic tools) to create the scene you see in the picture is included into the kit that will be given each student. During the workshop teacher will have some tools to share however, students are welcome to bring their own tools & (e.g. small scissors, pointed tweezers, xacto knife, a small paintbrush, a magnifier lamp if needed).
All supplies are provided by the instructor except as indicated,
however, students are welcome to bring their own tools & supplies.
